D2i was founded by Dan and Naomi D’Antonio in 2022 with a simple but powerful vision: to build an engineering firm that delivers better service for clients and a better workplace for employees. After years of experience in the industry, Dan and Naomi saw an opportunity to create something different, a company built on excellence, integrity, and care. They believed that when engineers are empowered, supported, and truly enjoy their work, clients feel the difference. Today, D2i brings that vision to life through exceptional customer care, dedicated project delivery, and a positive, people-first culture. From a beautiful office in downtown Tampa, our team proudly serves clients across the entire state of Florida, providing innovative, high-quality infrastructure solutions. As a Small Business Certified firm with FDOT and prequalification in Work Groups 3, 6, 7, and 13, D2i combines technical expertise with genuine partnership. Our team brings specialized knowledge across Design-Build projects, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), Traffic Operations and Safety Improvements, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Systems Planning, Project Management, Public Outreach, and more. With experience supporting critical infrastructure throughout The State of Florida, our professionals combine technical expertise with practical project understanding to develop solutions that are accurate, constructible, and responsive to client needs. Through strong quality control, interdisciplinary coordination, and a commitment to collaboration, D2i delivers reliable results across every phase of project development.

Naomi D'Antonio
Co-founder and President
Community Engagement Lead
Naomi brings more than two decades of experience in public involvement, stakeholder coordination, and organizational leadership. She earned her degree from the University of Florida and has held leadership roles including Executive Director of a nonprofit, President and Founder of her own firm, District Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives, and Senior Public Involvement Representative for a large engineering firm. Throughout her career, she has supported complex transportation and infrastructure projects through strategic communication, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement.

Engineering and Planning Services Lead
Dan is a licensed Professional Engineer with extensive experience in transportation engineering, traffic operations, and infrastructure planning, serving as Vice President of D Squared Infrastructure. He brings more than two decades of experience delivering transportation solutions for FDOT districts and local agencies throughout Florida. Dan earned his engineering degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has led complex transportation studies and design efforts focused on roadway safety, mobility improvements, corridor planning, access management, and roadway design

Emily Hiebner, P.E.
Transportation Engineer
Emily is a licensed Professional Engineer with experience supporting and leading transportation and infrastructure projects through technical analysis, design development, and multidisciplinary coordination, serving as an Engineer at D Squared Infrastructure. She earned her master's degree in civil engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has contributed to major transportation projects through project coordination, design support, and technical evaluation. Emily applies strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a standards-driven approach to deliver accurate and reliable engineering solutions throughout all phases of project development.

Emily Falcone
Executive Administrator
Emily is a business administration and marketing professional with experience supporting architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms through strategic marketing, business development, and operational coordination. She holds a master's degree in marketing from the University of South Florida and brings experience supporting transportation and infrastructure projects through client communications, proposal development, marketing initiatives, and organizational management. At D Squared Infrastructure, Emily provides administrative leadership, manages documentation, and supports internal operations to enhance efficiency and strengthen project delivery.
