​Project Overview​

D Squared Infrastructure provides transportation systems management and operations (TSM&O) planning and technical support under a districtwide, task work order–based consultant contract for FDOT District One. The contract supports the development, expansion, and implementation of districtwide TSM&O initiatives focused on improving system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency across the roadway network.

Services support both near-term operational strategies and long-range planning efforts, including smart work zone deployment and development of TSM&O and ITS master planning documents in coordination with regional partners.

Key Services

Services include senior transportation engineering support and task leadership for districtwide TSM&O initiatives; identification, evaluation, and design of smart work zone practices to enhance safety and mobility for motorists and construction personnel; development of TSM&O and ITS Master Plans for multiple Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) within the district; technical coordination across corridors and projects to support consistent operations strategies; and data analysis, reporting, and design support to inform TSM&O decision-making and implementation. The contract also includes support for task work order execution, documentation, and coordination with FDOT and regional stakeholders.​
