Project Overview​

Design Build Pushbutton V (DBPB V) is a task work order–driven design-build contract developed to provide rapid response to safety, operational, and capacity needs throughout FDOT District Seven. The contract supports small-scale but high-impact improvements, with individual work orders typically valued at less than $1 million, allowing for expedited delivery of roadway and traffic enhancements.
D Squared Infrastructure provided senior roadway and traffic engineering leadership and Engineer of Record (EOR) services for multiple DBPB V work orders, supporting access management improvements, traffic signal reconstruction, lighting retrofits, freight improvements, and small capacity projects across the district.

Key Services

Services included senior transportation engineering and Engineer of Record (EOR) services for roadway and traffic plans; task work order coordination and design oversight; preparation and review of roadway geometry, traffic control, and signal plans; access management and turn lane improvements; traffic signal reconstruction including mast arm and box span systems; roadway and pedestrian lighting design and LED lighting retrofits; freight and operational improvements; and quality control and assurance to ensure compliance with FDOT standards and expedited design-build delivery requirements.
