​Project Overview​

The Resurface Suncoast (SR 589) MP 37.3–44.5 project provided resurfacing improvements along the Suncoast Parkway corridor in Hernando County. The project included roadway improvements, safety enhancements, and associated transportation infrastructure upgrades to support continued roadway operations along this limited-access facility.

Key Services

​D Squared Infrastructure provided traffic engineering support for signalization improvements associated with the SR 589 resurfacing project. Services included signalization analysis and design support, review of existing ITS infrastructure, and evaluation of vehicle detection improvements at the SR 589 ramp intersections at County Line Road. The project scope included replacement of vehicle detection loops at the northbound and southbound on/off ramps at County Line Road.
