​Project Overview​

The SR 45 (US 41) project extends from north of Magellan Drive to north of 63rd Avenue West in Manatee County. The project is focused on improving the existing corridor through resurfacing and targeted roadway and traffic control improvements, supporting the continued operation and safety of this important regional route. The project includes improvements to signing, pavement markings, and signalization as part of the overall design.

Key Services

​D2i provided signalization analysis and design for the project, including traffic data collection and analysis to support modifications at the Bay Drive/69th Avenue West intersection. The work included development and review of master signalization design files, pedestrian features, conduit and pull boxes, presence and dilemma-zone detection, overhead street name signs, signal timing, and CCTV placement. D2i also prepared three overhead street name sign designs and developed the signalization plan package, including key sheets, signature sheets, and guide sign data.​
