​Project Overview​

D Squared Infrastructure (D2I) is providing comprehensive design services for the I-75 interchange improvements at Sumter Boulevard and Toledo Blade Boulevard in Sarasota County. This Design-Build project focuses on improving interchange operations, enhancing safety, and supporting regional mobility along one of Southwest Florida’s most critical interstate corridors.

The improvements are designed to accommodate existing and future traffic demands while minimizing impacts to motorists during construction through close coordination with the design-build team and FDOT.

Key Services

D2I is responsible for delivering full design support for the project, including roadway geometry, traffic operations, signing and pavement marking, signalization, lighting, and permitting coordination. Services also include post-design support throughout construction to ensure design intent is maintained and field conditions are appropriately addressed.
