Project Overview
D Squared Infrastructure is providing traffic engineering and design support services under the FDOT District Seven Districtwide Traffic Operations Design-Build Push-Button Contract V. The contract is delivered through on-call task orders to implement rapid-response safety, operational, and lighting improvements at targeted locations throughout the district using a design-build delivery approach.
The work supports FDOT’s goal of expediting small- to mid-scale traffic operational improvements, including traffic signal installations and corridor-wide lighting retrofits, to enhance safety, visibility, and roadway performance across state and local facilities.
Key Services
D Squared Infrastructure provides traffic engineering and design support services in coordination with WSP under multiple task orders. Services include preparation and review of traffic signal and roadway lighting design plans; design-build coordination to support accelerated delivery; development of traffic control and staging concepts; review of signing, pavement markings, and detection layouts; and quality control to ensure compliance with FDOT standards, criteria, and specifications. The work also includes coordination with FDOT District Seven staff to support implementation and construction readiness under the push-button delivery model.
